H1 2025 China Furniture Industry Import and Export Report
To effectively reflect the import and export situation of the industry and help enterprises better grasp market dynamics, the China Furniture Association will regularly publish the "China Furniture Industry Import and Export Report", based on nine categories of goods: wood furniture, metal furniture, plastic furniture, bamboo, rattan, willow and similar material furniture, other material furniture and furniture parts, seating and parts, dental and barber chairs and parts, medical furniture, and spring mattresses, to analyze the industry's import and export situation.
In the first half of 2025, facing a complex and severe international situation, the basic aspects of China's furniture industry's import and export remained stable. Affected by the tariff policies of some countries, global trade uncertainty increased, and the import and export volume was lower than the same period last year. China's furniture exports to overseas markets are mainly to the United States and the United Kingdom, and the key export products have continuity, reflecting international competitiveness; China's furniture imports mainly come from Italy and Germany, and high-quality products are more popular with domestic consumers. In the face of the continuously changing external environment, furniture companies should consolidate traditional markets, develop emerging markets, establish international brand images, improve product quality, strengthen service innovation, continuously enhance development resilience, and open up new market space.
