The 23rd Presidents and Secretaries-General Joint Meeting of the National Chain Operation Association was successfully held in Dalian
On June 29, 2025, the "23rd Annual Meeting of Presidents and Secretaries-General of the National Chain Operation Association" was grandly held at the Dalian World Expo Square. This meeting, guided by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association and the Liaoning Chain Store & Franchise Association, and hosted by the Dalian Chain Store & Franchise Association, focused on "Breaking Through and Innovating Chain Operations Under New Consumption Trends." Over 200 industry association representatives, business leaders, and experts from across the country gathered to discuss the transformation and development of the chain industry in the new consumption era.
As an important international shipping center and regional financial center in Northeast Asia, Dalian has continuously optimized its business environment in recent years and actively cultivated new formats and models of consumption, providing fertile ground for the development of the chain operation industry. The holding of this meeting not only points out the direction for industry development but also demonstrates Dalian's urban responsibility in promoting trade circulation and stimulating market vitality.
After 29 years of development, the Dalian Chain Store & Franchise Association's sixth leadership team, elected during this term change, is based on the new economic development situation and the newly formulated development plan, actively leading industry innovation and upgrading. Liu Yong, chairman of Dalian Haohe Food Co., Ltd. and the newly appointed president, stated that the association will fully play its role as a bridge and link, continuously working on government-enterprise docking, standard setting, and resource integration to provide better services for member enterprises. In the future, it will fully leverage its role as a bridge and link, deeply integrate industry resources, promote cross-regional cooperation, and help Dalian's commercial chain industry reach a higher level. This meeting is not only an important exchange event for the national chain industry but also marks the Dalian Chain Store & Franchise Association entering a new stage of high-quality development under the leadership of the new leadership team.
As the first major event after the change of leadership, this meeting attracted chain industry elites from across the country to Dalian. Peng Jianzhen, president of the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, Gao Yuan, president of the Liaoning Chain Store & Franchise Association, and other industry leaders attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Representatives from well-known companies such as Linjiapuzi, Japan 7-ELEVEn, and Biyout discussed supply chain restructuring, food safety, and retail innovation in depth.
During the meeting, the Dalian Chain Store & Franchise Association highlighted the achievements of Dalian's marine food industry ecological chain construction. By integrating three product matrices: seafood products, leisure snacks, and seafood dumplings, the association launched 25 single-product champion enterprises in the first batch of sub-categories. It also joined forces with eight industry associations and leading enterprises, including the Dalian Food Industry Association, the Dalian Pre-made Dish Industry Association, and the Dalian Food Safety Association, to jointly launch the "New Marine Fresh Food Supply Chain Platform," further strengthening the demonstration effect of industry benchmarks and promoting Dalian's characteristic seafood products to the national market.
In the theme sharing session, the attendees engaged in in-depth exchanges on industry development hotspots. Chu Dong, a policy research expert at the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, provided a detailed interpretation of the policy environment for the development of chain enterprises and food safety supervision trends. Liu Ning, founder of the Dalian Jinyeye Chuntian convenience brand, shared the innovative practices of "thousands of stores," providing valuable experience for the transformation and upgrading of convenience store formats. Zhu Dongsheng, former head of Japan 7-ELEVEn's China region, systematically introduced the advanced management experience and latest development trends of Japanese convenience stores. In addition, representatives from well-known chain enterprises such as Linjiapuzi, Biyout Supermarket, Heji Shengjian, and Panda Chan Fried Goods shared their practical experience from the perspectives of supply chain management, regional characteristic product development, and catering chain expansion.
This meeting specially set up a product tasting area to showcase Dalian's high-quality seafood products, providing an immersive experience for the attendees. Many attendees stated that through the efficient platform built by the association, not only was the resource docking between upstream and downstream of the industrial chain promoted, but also a "Dalian experience" was provided for the innovative development of the national chain industry. As the first national industry event of the Dalian Chain Store & Franchise Association after the change of leadership, this event not only built a professional platform for industry exchanges but also resulted in several substantial collaborations. The "39° North Latitude Fresh Flavor Night" business dinner held that evening provided attendees with more in-depth exchange opportunities. Cong Peigang, president of the Dalian Food Industry Association, stated in his speech: In the future, the Dalian Food Industry Association, the Pre-made Dish Association, the Food Safety Association, and the Chain Association will break down barriers, deepen cooperation, establish a joint secretariat to improve decision-making and service efficiency; open up member enterprise databases to reduce enterprise cooperation costs; and jointly create national industry exchange platforms such as the "Dalian Food Chain Innovation Summit" to create more development opportunities for member enterprises and help Dalian's food go nationwide and become fragrant throughout the world!
The successful holding of this meeting demonstrates Dalian's industrial agglomeration advantages as a trade hub city in Northeast Asia and reflects the platform value of the National Chain Operation Association in leading industry innovation and development.
