A Brief History of the Development of Educational Equipment in China
Standard Guarantee for the Development of Educational Equipment in China
Standardization work is the basic work of educational equipment work. With the continuous development of economy and society, the types of teaching instruments in primary and secondary schools are increasing. Due to the lack of corresponding standards and guidance, the product quality of enterprises is uneven, which greatly affects the performance of equipment.
In 1981, the Ministry of Education established the National Teaching Instrument Standardization Cooperation Group, which was later expanded to four groups: mechanics and thermals, electricity and magnetism, optics and atomic physics, and biology. By 1988, a total of 299 Ministry of Education standards were issued.
In 1987, with the approval of the former National Bureau of Standards, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Teaching Instruments was established in Dalian;
In 1988, six sub-technical committees were established for mechanical and thermal instruments, electrical and magnetic instruments, optical and atomic physical instruments, biological instruments, chemical instruments, and preschool education instruments. The formulation and release of a series of standards have played a positive role in improving the quality of educational equipment products and standardizing the development of the industry.
Up to now, the National Teaching Instrument Standardization Technical Committee has issued 7 national standards and 301 education industry standards, covering more than 1900 kinds of teaching instruments in primary and secondary schools, and standardizing the quality requirements of teaching instruments.
