By the end of 2018, the equipment of science experimental instruments in primary and secondary schools across the country was basically up to standard, with the average value of instruments and equipment per student reaching 1558 yuan in primary schools and 2453 yuan in junior high schools; 67.56 per cent, 77.29 per cent and 88.05 per cent in primary, junior high and Senior high school schools to establish campus networks, respectively. Information technologies such as mobile terminals and virtual reality have been continuously integrated into the learning space and learning content, and the working connotation of educational equipment has also been continuously deepened. It has changed from simple utensils to supporting the construction of technical environment for curriculum implementation, from verifying the correctness of knowledge and reproducing the process of knowledge occurrence to serving students' autonomous learning and inquiry learning, from standardized equipment to diversified and characteristic equipment with core literacy as the logical starting point, it has and embodies the six major functions of "promoting the renewal of educational concepts, supporting the link of educational resources, improving students' cognitive efficiency, promoting accurate management of education, enhancing students' learning drive and improving teachers' professional ability.
