China Business News: Forum on improving the quality of hospital environment and high-quality development held in Dalian
To fully implement the "Healthy China" national strategy and to continuously promote the implementation of the National Health and Health Work Conference, the "Quality Empowerment, Leading the Future" - Forum on Improving the Quality of Hospital Environments and High-Quality Development was successfully held at the Dalian Smart Medical Care and International Exchange Center from April 18th to 20th.
This event was jointly organized by the Smart Branch of the Chinese Medical Equipment Association, Yusheng Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhuyitai Technology Co., Ltd., and other units, with special support from Dalian University of Technology Affiliated Central Hospital (City Central Hospital) and Dalian University Affiliated Xinhua Hospital. It involved multi-channel, multi-level, and comprehensive exchanges and cooperation through various methods such as keynote speeches, high-level dialogues, exhibitions, special talks, and study tours. Yi Jiewen, Vice President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Furniture and Decoration Industry, Vice President of the China Furniture Association, Dalian Municipal People's Congress representative, Vice Chairman of the Dalian Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of Yusheng Group, delivered a welcome speech.
Yi Jiewen stated that Yusheng Group, relying on its scientific and technological innovation in the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, focuses on building five smart sectors: smart medical care, smart health care, smart office, smart education, and smart integrated decoration. By hosting this high-level forum, it gathers the wisdom and strength of experts, scholars, and designers to provide more comprehensive solutions for the future construction of smart medical care, and to fully implement the Healthy China strategy and safeguard the most secure defense line for people's health. More than 300 people from over 100 hospitals and design institutes, industry experts and scholars, mainstream media, and medical industry suppliers from 18 provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hong Kong, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Guangdong gathered together to discuss the grand plan for hospital construction. Liu Diankui, former head of the Hospital Reform Group of the State Council's Medical Reform Office, former deputy director of the Institutional Reform Department of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, president of the Hospital Architecture and Equipment Branch of the Chinese Medical Equipment Association, and president of China Medical Equipment magazine; Ai Hua, vice chairman of the Dalian Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; and Hao Ming, vice chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, were invited to attend the summit.
Ai Hua, vice chairman of the Dalian Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, emphasized in his speech that under the correct leadership of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Dalian City adheres to the medical pattern of "reaching the top, establishing a firm foundation, and strengthening the waist," using reform to break through problems and innovation to pave the way—deepening medical reform measures to take root, improving the tiered diagnosis and treatment system, and significantly enhancing emergency medical capabilities. The vitality of a city lies not only in the leap in economic data, but also in the healthy smiles of every citizen.
Hao Ming, vice chairman of the Dalian Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, pointed out that 2025, as the closing year of the "14th Five-Year Plan," the Party and the state have clearly put forward the strategic goal of "building a high-quality and efficient medical service system," requiring the use of environmental innovation to drive service upgrades, allowing patients to move from "having medical treatment when sick" to "having excellent medical environment." As a member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, we always pay attention to the well-being of the people and actively make suggestions and proposals to promote the implementation of policies. Today, using the high-level forum as a platform to discuss the improvement of hospital environment quality is a concrete practice of implementing national policies and responding to the expectations of the masses.
Liu Diankui emphasized that this conference focuses on "hospital construction," "smart construction," "green hospitals," and "healing environments," jointly exploring new visions and paths for hospital environment planning and design, promoting a leapfrog upgrade in hospital medical service quality and patient medical experience, and inviting industry experts and scholars to jointly discuss and share their cutting-edge theories and successful experiences in the process of modern hospital construction, contributing to the high-quality and sustainable development of the medical industry in terms of environmental construction.
This high-level forum also invited dozens of guests, including nationally renowned industry experts, scholars in the medical field, designers from well-known design institutes, representatives from hospitals across the country, and strategic partners of Yusheng Group's global ecological supply chain, to give speeches. On the one hand, it focuses on the main line of basic hospital construction, actively exploring the application and promotion of advanced construction planning, design concepts, construction processes, new materials, and new technologies in medical spaces; on the other hand, it focuses on the upgrading and development of future hospitals in terms of intelligence, information, and digitalization under the drive of innovation in the new era.
Guests shared their insights on numerous topics, including "Building and Optimizing Healing Environments in Hospitals Based on Patient Experience," "Overall Solutions for Smart Medical Care," "Thoughts on Hospital Construction Management under the Dual Carbon Goals," "Low-Carbon Transformation and Implementation Path of Hospital Construction in Zhejiang Province," "Thoughts on the Development and Application of Smart Medical Technology," "Investment and Cost Control Management of Hospital Construction Projects," and "Configuration of Large Medical Equipment and Room Renovation in Hospitals." The rich content, wonderful cases, and practical solutions won rounds of applause from the audience.
In the future, Yusheng Group will take this high-level forum as an opportunity to implement the national strategy of "Healthy China," taking smart medical care as the core, cultivating new productive forces, and contributing greater strength to the future construction of smart hospitals and safeguarding the most secure defense line for people's health.
