Xi Jinping pointed out that the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China opened a new era of comprehensively deepening reform and systematically promoting a new journey of reform, creating a new situation for China's reform and opening up, which is of epoch-making significance. Xi Jinping emphasized that adhering to integrity and innovation is a major principle that must be firmly grasped and consistently upheld in further comprehensively deepening reform. Our reform has direction and principles. We must uphold the comprehensive leadership of the Party, adhere to Marxism, uphold socialism with Chinese characteristics, and maintain the people's democratic dictatorship, with the starting point and foothold being to promote social fairness and justice and enhance people's well-being. These are fundamental, directional, and long-term, reflecting the nature and purpose of the Party, in line with China's national conditions, and in accordance with the fundamental interests of the people, and must not waver in any situation.
